well...err..my house survived I should say. I ran like a screaming little girly man to northern Georgia before it hit hehe. But I returned to pensacola this afternoon to find my house still intact and standing. We lost power for 2 days, but we had a nice neighborhood party outside tonite until power came on about 2 hours ago. See ya all in-game! ![]() |

That is great. My Aunt lives in Gulf Shores and she said they had no damage. But then they were west of the eye so I figured that you guys to the east must have been hit hard. But you say all is well in Pensacola... so where was the damage? Ivan tore the place up, by all accounts Dennis was to be stronger. |

Nope, to my knowledge only Erime and I are in the Deep South. I believe we have a few in Atlanta, where it flooded, but no other Avians along the gulf coast. |

well the storm hit east of my house 20-25 miles away and it was booking at 18mph when it did. We recieved the west side of the storm which is normally its weakest spot. The only evidence of a storm in my neighborhood was alot of small branches and twigs all over peoples yards. I was just lucky that the storm had made landfall where it did and it was traveling very fast. Had it come in 30 miles more west and slowed to a normal 5-8mph for a hurricane, things would have been completely different for my neighborhood. I would have very well lost my roof and my storage shed out back at the very least and who knows what else after that. |

Glad to hear that nothing Happened to Pensacola, 'cause I'm going there in a couple of days. Right now I'm in Montgomery, AL. It's good to see some survived. |
