| Post subject: | Looking for Sin City Background |
Im looking for a large res jpeg or gif or png of a Sin City background from the movie. I have looked through Google Images and havent found anything that was big enough or exactly what I am looking for. Im looking for a black city-scape background that is large res, like 1600x1200 would be great. Anyone know sites that might have this picture? Thanks in advance. Oh, btw, once I get the background I will post the picture Ive been working on, seems Ive caught the photoshop bug. EDIT: I settled for turning two backgrounds into one, so I dont need one anymore but would still like to see what you got. I will post the pic once Im done, maybe late tonight or tomorrow. |

ok guys this is what I got to show you. Its not good for normal Photoshop users but for me... well im surprised I was able to do something this good in 4hours of work. I dont like how it washed out my forehead but it makes it look more like the novel, which is what I was going for, but I kinda went back and forth between the movie and the graphic novel. http://photos21.flickr.com/29157238_fbb4810e11_b.jpg What do yall think? fool around with the eraser and get the whiteness on the edges of the hair the sunglasses i don't like too much but not sure what I'd do to fix em the right side is a bit close to the nose..maybe? I'd add a blur or a bit of fade to the mod is the gamer sign ---- You could also touch up your face but i kinda like the grizzled/hardness of it |

lol, yeah the face is "hard" dirty looking on pourpose, but it does look like i have some serious acne 
the glasses are the worst part imo b/c I didnt know how to do them so I copied and pasted the gold from the color over to the black/white and on top of that five min into it I saved over the color copy so I had to you another picture from a diffrent angle. so yeah it looks bad for a reason 
any other suggestions? |

is there a reason for Mod is the gamer sign? personally it needs to be darken'd a tad and angled a bit to match the windows and slant of the background love the gun brings back memorys

I should show you the original picture, let me find a link... http://www.impawards.com/2005/posters/sin_city_ver7.jpg you can see I bascially copied the style of this picture of Dwight. The "Mod is the Gamer" thing is basically just "Clive Owens is Dwight" I could put my full name and a character's, but Im not that creative and for me its a better joke. Even though I have a serious look on my face it is just a joke. If I were to try this again I would do everything the same except not do a comic book like face, and do something that looks like it would be in the movie. |
