Just curious. I quit SWG (again) and am playing CoH with a few other Smuggler Forum folks who have quit SWG, too. So far I'm having fun. It's nothing like what SWG could have been, but I'm enjoying it. Was just wondering if any Avians still played. |

I have played it for a time on Freedom, and might return there one day. |

I have it and played it for a short time. Actually, I'm not sure if there's too many MMO's out that I haven't played. hehe That's another game I had a lot of fun creating characters, but never could stick with it because there was just SOOOO much grinding involved .. Might be fun if there were a lot of folks I knew playing. Might look at reinstalling it if there was a good group of folks playing. |

Yeah, I played as well. I had a great green Basher named Poopstardo. He sure had a power with the ladies... Flying was fun, character building was a ton of fun... grinding got old around day 3. |

I had a hero named Sky Marshal who constantly got compliments on his costume (like 2 a day, at least), and another named Uncle Enzo (ala Snow Crash), who had a red bandana, eye patch, big cigar, and a mean grin. Also, a rather large katana + super speed = quick painless death for anyone. That, and being dressed like a mafioso means he also had a nice big of sway with the ladies. |

Uncle Enzo was a brilliant idea. He was always one of my favorites from Snow Crash. |

Yeah. I saw a character on Earthen Ring named Hiro a few weeks back and had a good conversation about the book with him. The sad thing is that Raven is such a common alias and name - I'd have to look back in the book and see if it were possible to fit his whole name in there as my avatar's name. But if we're ever allowed our own tattoos in a game, I'm getting big block letters in my forehead that say "POOR IMPULSE CONTROL" |

I've got another one named Bible Blaster, who is a fire blaster, glowing white eyes, sandals, the whole bit. I got the idea from Matt Groening's episode of The Simpsons when Maude dies and Bart tries to cheer up the kids by playing video games with them. I made the character just to make it - but on the rare occasion that I do, I get several people saying "that's not very sensitive". It's interesting what ticks people off. Just the word "Bible" is a four letter word to some people. Uncle Enzo also sometimes annoys people I group with - especially when we're fighting Outcasts. I usually hear one of them say, "Damnit Enzo! I tried to attack you, because you look like one of them!" It's totall rubbish really, unless they're all colorblind. But it is funny, especially when they die because they're trying to attack the wrong person. |

I had a 43 Fire Tanker on Victory before I quit. Though CoV does look like a lot of fun.. |

Angus is on Pinacle server, i haven't gotten around to making one there, had a few friends on Justice, so i have a couple toons there. On the plus side, it seems theres quite a few character slots, around 10 from memory, so not like you're going to run out durring your trial. course, making toons there, is 80% of the fun of the game... anyway. yeah. *walks away* |

I got an email frmo NCSoft the other day to allow pre-ordering of CoV that will include some extras. So, needless to say, I'll be ordering that. I've been waiting for CoV for quite some time ![]() |
