Anyone have a good memcheck program? I also need an app that can check if my processor or mobo is fried.

Im still having Laptop issues. It isn't crashing but it is running slow and lags out when I open new apps.

defrag done, 6gigs free on drive.

Run an anti-spyware proggy.

Sorry, can't answer your question directly but thought I might suggest another approach to the problem.

Memcheck programs:

Microsoft have their own Windows Memory Diagnostic located here:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

Then you have Memtest86:
http://www.memtest86.com/

And the newer version, Memtest86+:
http://www.memtest.org/

How important is it to defrag?

I have just defragged my laptop for the first time in a year.
Because the defrag needs 15 % I haven't been able to it.

Got a total of 46.10 GB on the C:
And a total of 9.76 GB on the D:

Had 2% free hardive on C: and 11% on D: untill I got a couple of burnable DVD so do the calc.

But again how important is it?
