From Smed's keynote address at the Austin Game Conference, they are going to try out the asian 'micro-payments' approach for a new MMO title for a fall 2006 release. This is probably a result of all of those marketing questionnaires they have in their MMO's. Questions like "how much would you be willing to pay a month for other SOE MMO's?". I'm sure the resounding answer was NOTHING! |
