If you liked Outlaws, you owe it to yourself to at least take a look at Gun.

I 'acquired' a copy today and I'll be going to buy a legal copy tomorrow. This game is not only very pretty, it's a ton of fun! Shooting from a moving horse, charging bad guys with your horse, doing quick draws, the works. Basically, this seems to be the western game I didn't know I was missing and wanting.

I don't remember reading or hearing much of anything about the game but it has plenty they could have really bragged on. I recognized the voice of Kris Kristofferson (plays Ned) and Tom Jane (from The Punisher) voices the hero.

Little things like the fact your horse canters down to a stop rather than just 'stopping,' reloading a six-gun one bullet at a time (speed loaders may be bought) and their implementation of quick-draw all really, really add to the game, IMHO.

I don't know how the story will be but so far it was enough to lead me right into Dodge City and prompty seek out a Wanted poster. Nailed tha varmit, too. Got $15 for bringing him in alive. ;)

Anyway, this is just a great little surprise to have found this game and thought I'd pass it on to the rest of you in case you were so inclined for what is shaping up to be an excellent western shooter!

PS: I've read you can scalp opponents at one point...

PPS: Despite this, I will be in-game later tonight - no, really!!

I loved Outlaws. Still have it some place on the shelf.

But I would have loved if there were a demo of it so I could try it out.
