Despite the fact that the end began a long time ago, I thought I'd choose this point to post. Before you even think of it in that direction, no I'm not leaving, also no it's nothing to do with SWG (though I will be cancelling my account before its renewal). No, the end I am referring to is that of my degree. I will officially finish next Friday (Assuming I don't fail any modules!). I am posting this now as the first of my two final exams is tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!! |

Well 1 out of 2 is decent (but probably not good enough to pass your final) |

I'm going to graduate high school come next may. I've been thinking about it, and I feel that it is kind of sad in a way, and yet, it is also invigorating. When I'm older, I will probably miss my high school and college days, and I'll think back on them with fond memories, but I wont forget that I also have my whole life ahead of me. I'll want to be sure to fill that with fond memories as well. Just my two cents. |

Wow! Thanks for all the responces. Just finished the exam and it went reasonably well. The wonderfully busy schedule for next week goes as follows: - Monday Eve, final meeting with project supervisors and showing off draft version of presentation. - Tuesday PM, present project poster before going on to give project presentation (to a mere 400 people ![]() - Wednesday AM, project viva (a sort of oral exam, basically where they take our project reports apart piece by piece. Apparently no one leaves these thinking that they've done well!) - Wednesday PM, revise for exam - Thursday AM, Said exam, in Spacecraft Systems Design - Thursday PM, party party party, but not too much! - Friday AM, viva for the project that I did over the summer (Slightly less intense and far more general than the other viva) - Friday PM, herein occurs the Board of Examiner's meeting (I'm not invited!) - Friday EVE, Results!!! PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!! - Saturday, take day off and generally recover! - Sunday, Start working for the Xmas, New Year period (Showing Harry Potter 4 for three weeks and then one week of Narnia) From that point on, with all luck and hope, I can be referred to as Antan Karmola MEng!! |

Well, I'm finished and not really very happy ![]() Was aiming for a Distinction, ended up with a Merit. I also discovered that the PhD opertunity that I was going for fell through as the application for funding wasn't accepted. So all in all a bad day to finish off a bad week to finish off a bad semester in all! Oh well, I can now say I'M FREEEEEEEEEE but with far less enthusiasm than I originally wished. |

Well I've had a subtantial number of people convinse me that working very hard for four and a half years to get a Master of Engineering degree is a fantastic achievement even getting a merit. That and along with the fact that I'm now the most qualified member of my family, I'm somewhat happier about it than yesterday. Hence the new sig!!! |
