Here is a Holiday story for you all.

I got up running late this morning and decided to take a cab to where I was meeting my carpool to head out to the theatre I was working in today. As I got in the cab I found a womans wallet sitting in the seat.

opening it I saw several Platinum credit cards a drivers license an insurance card for a 2004 BMW and many IDs and such. I couldn't find a business card and her number was unlisted. Calling her AmEx Card I told the 'concierge' what was happening and she took down my name and number. A few hours later the lady calls and I assure her that all is well and her wallet, and money, is safe.

I get back into the city and meet her for like 10seconds as I hand the wallet to her. She says that I made her holiday and she hands me a cloth wrapped gift card with a velvet tied bow. Seriously the best wrapped card Id ever seen, it even had a candy cane wrapped in the bow.

Opening it was a nice thank you card saying that this made her holiday season which I thought was pretty cool. Inside that card was another 'fatter' envelope. Inside that one was three hundred bucks! OK yeah I kinda expected that she would hand me a 20 or something and then I would graciously refuse once then quick pocket the 20 after she insisted :) but the card was so nice i couldn't refuse it out of hand. The 300 bucks inside was, well, a very Merry (belly up to the bar drinks are on me) Christmas.

Guess good deeds do get rewarded every now and then.

Great story Moge.

Just something else to get me further into the xmas spirit (as if last weekend in a mountian resort wasn't enough)
