LOL! I knew this post would get some fun responses. In all seriousness, this Gas Station/Truck Stop located about 30 miles from me is up for sale. I had the deal nearly done and then the buyer got pissed off because he wants everything for nothing, but he can't get it because over the last few years, the business he's trying to buy hasn't made much money due to poor management. Whoever buys this place is going to have to bite the bullet and either put $300k or more down, or else live with an interest rate in the high 8% range, until they can turn it around and show a nice profit. At that point they'll be able to refinance it for a more bearable rate.
Anyway, the deal went south, so now I'm helping the broker find another buyer, because both the broker and I have about 14 months of work put into this deal. Thought I'd just throw this out there, since with Avians, you just never know who is behind the goofy avatars... I know for a fact that we have several business owners in our midst.
This gas station will actually be a pretty decent investment for somebody with the cash to put down. Should be able to make a killing, if it's run right.
