If you go to http://www.penny-arcade.com/ they have a weekend free beta that you can sign up for. I signed up and am downloading the beta now to give it a shot. |

Ive been in beta for a long while now but Ive never even logged in. Seems they did this last weekend as well. I have the client installed so I may log in and check it out. I have only marginal interest in the game but NCSoft seems to know how to make fast paced and fun games so Im sure AA will, if nothing else, be a 'fun for a time' game. |

well I logged in and played for about an hour. Driving is cool and the fast pace and movement is definately fun. It played just a like a console game so Im sure it will be huge in the younger crowds much like CoV and CoH are. In the end I cannot imagine playing for the game but I will say that it seems like it could be fun and a nice distraction game. |

Looks like I wont be able to try it out. My Ati Radeon 7500 Mobility just isnt up to the job. The thing crashes as I try to start it. New drivers have not helped at all. Oh well. |

did this for me as well. There is a simple fix on the AA website. I cannto find the post right now but it was something like: Delete C:\Program Files\NetDevil\Auto Assault\effects\precompile Delete C:\Program Files\NetDevil\Auto Assault\exe\VOG.opt disable Antivirus Patch the game -- I would freeze up on the program would not start up and then I tried this and it cleared up my problems. |
