Avian Gamers Network

Hey all,
A bunch of Avians are playing a web game called Travian. It's a fun game of conquest and economic buildup that takes about 10 minutes per day. You can only really get ahead if you join the game within a few days of the server first being created... and one is starting tonight at midnight (12 EST, 6am GMT).

We'd love for as many Avians as possible to join... if you do, pick to join on Server 5 and start in the North East. Spend your first few days just building up your land tiles... don't buy any buildings for the first week, and don't create any armies for a while.

It's a free game (though you can pay $3/month to see a larger map), and the URL to join is at: http://ww.travian.com/ .

It'd be great if we can all join together in a guild and coordinate efforts.

I'm at 92/15...does someone have a level 3 Embassy? I have pretty much no idea what's going on over there.

We won't have a Level 3 embassy for another 4 or 5 days. For now, just try not to build any buildings and only build up your fields (this is the most efficient way to go for the first week).

After that, the raiding and fighting will begin, and things will get a lot more interesteing.

They were lvl 1 wenches. It took a lot of Brut and Courvoisier but we now have lvl 7 wenches.

You can all still join in and helping Avian form a new empire!

If you join in within the next week, you'll have to play a tiny amount of catch-up, but you'll still be a huge force.

It seems like a fun game, and not requiring too much effort!

I'm located at x7 | y12, next to flyoc. As soon as the embassy is upgraded I will be joining the actual "alliance." If anyone needs help when newbie protection is removed March 16, at 6:00 St (12:00 EST,) just mail me. I wont get the message until 13:00 St (7:00 EST,) however. I will try to work out a diplomatic solution. If that doesnt work I will have to put my many clubswigers to work.

My trick is to send my target a bunch of red shirts to wear before my attack . i'll let you know how it works out.
