It might be to our advantage to have a private forum for now (as we don't want people to see our planning), but I am fine just having a single public forum.

Each thread should follow the following format:
<Game Identifier>:<Thread Subject>

Hence Our Travian roster could be identified as: Travian:Active Player Roster

or, you could have GTR:Active Player Roster for GTR, MarcoLand:Starter Guide. There probably isn't the need for multiple forums as these games are short lived and don't need an individual forum.

I'm not sure it needs BoD approval, but it's always nice to have so go for it.

Also, would you recommend that we have the "guidance" (i.e., not "rules") be that any new game goes into the PUG group, then if it's still got traction after a month we make a seperate gaming forum for it? Of course, if there's a hugely popular hit, we can always make a new forum when it's signed... but this will catch all the small ones that our Gaming Network enjoys.

These types of requests do not need BoD Approval. You want to make your request directly to the Admins, as they are the decision makers when it comes to setting up general use forums.

This is an Admin thing not really a BoD thing. Once we think up a clever title for the Board we will open'er up.

Right now it's a close race between 'Moge's Game Land' and 'Yak Has to Much Time For a Guy with a Real Job Gamers Forum' or simply YH2MT4aGwaRJGW. There is also some interest in 'Some dude named Obo and his crazy game links forum'.

Thoughts?
