Saw this today via Google Desktop - what I've seen is incredible and I haven't even finished the whole 35 minute clip. I know the game designers among us will be salivating over this and I know I can't wait to see the full release. Seems another win for Wil Wright.

I guess I missed the thread on this last year but I would have thought something like this would have generated more buzz among this crowd! :) Finished this clip and wow...the scale is astounding! Allowing the player to go from cellular level out to a universe view! I'm very much looking forward to this game and will bump this when something new (such as a release date) is available.

yes, this is from a year ago, but the video was just released a couple weeks ago, hence, the current buzz.


game looks amazing to me. i really hope they can put it all in one package.

I'm going to make a Wil Wright drinking game. Everytime he says "um", you know what to do.

I've been closely watching the progress of this game for what seems like well over a year now. It as if Wil read my mind. He's so dreamy.

I actually sent in a job application to work in his studio at 60% of my current salary (in northern california, even). So, he's mine! Back off! If only he would have called me back... :(

At last year's E3 it blew minds and was mentioned in some write ups at that time for a Fall 2006 release. I am seriously hoping that means earlier fall (Sept) than later (Nov).

I this will be the game that could effectively kick my WoW addiction.
