My comp is acting up wierd.

During start up it comes with the message :
Code:
Verifying DMI Pool Data ..........

NTLDR missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart

After a little while with the verifying it comes with the NTLDR message.

What should I do?

Boot on a recovery console with a bootable install CD, log in then type "fixboot C:" if windows is installed on C:

That's what they say anyway !

Keep us up.

Thx Rocklar.

Read it, though I want to ask what would be the most possible reason for this to happen, since the comp worked perfect just an hour earlier.
It is not connected to the internet, nor has there been installed anything for more than a week.

Most probable reason would be chaos. Shit happens, and it happens quite a lot with computers :( Bad luck that's about it I guess

It's fixed now.

Read the guide once again (after I wasn't panicked anymore) and started to go through the problem solving by the book.

Looked at the hardware at first and whaddya know? It was a bad cable.

As soon as the cable was fixed I found an old 15 GB harddrive and took a backup of the C: drive and changed the cable to a fresh one.
If the computer screws up again it might be the harddrive itself.
