Firaxis release patch v 1.61 recently for Civ4. It fixed many many memory handling issues in the game and it runs so much better. Multiplayer is working like it should now. I've been playing an MP game with Slyclonis(Crelt) and no crashes for two days and many hours hammering away at it. So, I know we spoke about it before, but with the current stable state of the game, we should do this if you're interested. I'm thinking we set a block of time aside once a week to all log in and play.

Who'd be interested?

I would be. This weekend is probably a wash but week day evenings would work.

I would be down with this. Sounds like fun. I would just have to juggle it amongst my MC raiding and ball schedules. Weekends might be best for me for these reasons but get a date st and we'll see what can be done.

What would you like? A longer weekend session or possible two shorter weekday sessions?

I'd prefer two shorter weekday sessions.

i played 3 or 4 times solo against the ai when the game first came out...so if you all need a beeatch to pummel on...let me know.

this week is bad as i'm going on vacation, but please post more sessions and hopefully you can take my money then...

Wed evening I've got to watch Lost , no Tivo here, and Thursdays I usually have a standing dinner date with my parents. Other than that, throw out some days and times (maybe 8pm-11pm EST?) and we'll get one rolling. The AI still does cheat though. I've been catching it doing it a lot in this latest MP game. Units miraculously appearing in cities you're attacking, barbarian cities showing up in controlled, non-fog of war tiles, technology discoveries. More the incentive to wipe them out I guess. I'm glad I wiped out Gandhi instead of building settlers in the beginning hehe.

I'd love to, but my time is limited for the next couple of weeks.
