Travian 3
Battle of the heroes
Hello Arindel,

starting this weekend, players from all over the world play Travian3 on a new server. You've played Travian before? This is where you get to know a few quick facts about the new Travian game and why it is worth getting back into it again:

One of the most easily recognizable changes in Travian3 is the resource overview, which has been redesigned completely. Instead of rectangles in different colors, you encounter dark forests, large mountains, clay pits and crop lands. Narrow pathways meander around the fields and lead to the small village in the middle over which you may reign as the chieftain. As in Travian2, you can choose between playing a Gaul, Teuton, or Roman.

On the military side of things, Travian3 provides a new feature - the "hero". In the hero's mansion you can appoint a regular unit to ! become a hero, in order to gloriously win battles with him in the future. No matter whether the intended purpose is to beat large opponents, to improve the own troops' morale, or to conquer new pieces of land (the "oases") - the hero can be used in many ways and provides variety on any stage of the game. Due to the possibility to improve the hero with status points in specific areas, the hero can be adapted to your own personal playing style.

The Gauls were given a new building in which they have the possibility to trap enemy troops. Should an unwary aggressor attack you, his troops fall into the trap and are caught. Now, the other commander must give a good deal of thought to what it is worth to him to free his trapped troops from your claws.

Are you a clever strategist and a player who enjoys a good fight? In that case! , the oases are just the right thing for you. Should you prevail again st the wild animals there, you can snatch a lot of resources. With the hero, you can annex an oasis to your village - from that point on, it is yours and contributes to an increased resource production.

In addition to these major new features, many small details have been improved which make the game and the in-game navigation considerably easier to handle.

Did we manage to spark your curiosity?

Find out for yourself about all the new Travian has to offer:
