Post subject:  Web Hosting
Myself and several friends have a web site we use to post these funny videos we make for our friends to watch and what not, we also have a forum on the site. Our old web host was through a friend and really doesn't meet our needs anymore as we need more space and bandwidth so we are in the market for a Web Host. Its hard to pick one out of the pack so if anyone has any good (or bad experiance) to share with particular hosts or a good site with usefull reviews of various web hosts. We are not looking for anything too fancy. Bandwidth im not really sure probably around 1gb a month? Is that reasonable? Space 1gb+, and mysql database/php compatable are the main things...

Any help appreciated

I use site5.com for all my sites and Avian is also hosted by them. Never had an issue, no downtime excellent rates and plenty of extras and BW.

I can have nearly unlimited 10 GB web spaces w/o transfer limit and only FTP access (PHP/MySQL enabled) but that would be in France. ho yeah and it's free.

I have a free site there have for like 6 years it was orginally a 1 year deal but they never took it away :) .. I've heard alot of bad stuff bout them any problems with billing?

Not yet. I went for them because they came very highly recommended from a friend of mine.
