I'm bored and I'm trying to play MOO3. I installed, and attempted to launch, and the mouse icon turns into a spinning CD and sits there just spinning. The game won't launch, and when you Alt_Ctrl_Dlt, it's not even on the Running Programs list and I have to shut down the computer to get it to stop. I already tried re-installing DirectX.

I'm not sure if this machine has a graphics card at all. I'm using the crappy PIII at work. The processor is way more than what is needed, but I'm not sure if I meet the graphics requirements.

Any ideas on how to make this piece of crap work?

MOO:3 was a gigantic rushed turd and has endless problems like that. Yet, I fire it up and play it often. Did you get the 1 or 2 patches that were released before they abandoned it and ran? Try running it in Win98 compatibility mode too. Right click the short cut, properties, Compatibility tab. I've never had issues loading it like you, but it's a shot. I'm sure you video drivers are up to date, and I know it runs with Direct X 9c. On a side note, I have some directions to mod some of the excel sheets in the game to make it a bit more fun
