After three and a half months... I'm employed again!

Well, kinda. I don't start until October 16th. But it's a kickass corporate job, with killer benefits and pretty damn good pay, too. I'm going to be an Electrical Substation Designer.

I worked for this place as a contractor doing drafting for almost a year and a half (my last job). Apparently I impressed the manager so much that when the job came up, he gave a copy of my resume to HR and made it clear that he wanted me for the position. It helps that he's the guy with the final say-so about who gets the job, too.

I'm totally stoked.

Congrats! I just ended a 6.5 month stint of unemployment. It's a great feeling getting another job, and even better getting one you want! Hope it works out for you!
