Muahaha... I'm so excited. I can't wait to try out all the games again and finally play with graphics settings not at low or moderate. Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.4GHz,1066FSB) with 4MB cache 2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX 250GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200RPM) 13 in 1 Media Card Reader 3.5in Floppy Drive - I will always have a floppy drive ![]() 48X Combo and 16X DVD+/-RW Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition the graphics card is what drove this whole purchase. I currently have an old Radeon 9800 and it just can't handle newer games at all. I wanted to just upgrade it, but my motherboard doesn't have any PCI-e slots and I just couldn't stomach spending a lot of money on another AGP card. So that's my justification and it helps me sleep at night ![]() |

As do I after my 9700 burnt out this summer. Been ok with WoW so far but sure wish I had a PCI-E slot. Da well, perhaps will get a new fangled computer next year. We just bought a new house and are in the process of moving so money has gotten a little tighter than normal ![]() Nice rig btw Tetran! Where did you buy through? Dell? newegg? other? |

I usually build mine, but I just don't feel like it anymore. I work on PC's all day at work, so coming home and doing more just isn't something I'm interested in anymore heh. I went through Dell, and build an XPS system. They are offering a really nice 18 Months no Payment option now. Which works out great since between the house and car damage from a hail storm last week doing over 10k in damage, I've got some sudden expenses outside of what insurance is covering. 18 months with no intrest is a great deal. |

My brother in law and I built our machines last time, and that was for SWG!! Time to build a new one, but I think we'll wait for Vista to be ready. |

Got it all hooked up last night, and holy cow that sucker is fast. I can't wait to get some time and re-install all my games on this. I was playing CoV last night and I couldn't believe the difference in graphics. I never knew there was that whole world of detail in that game heh. Maybe now I can play Titan Quest finally. It's been collecting dust since my last failed attempt. |

I did not get a new PC..yet... But I did get a new 56" LCD HDTV. At first I wanted to refit my old, unused PC with DVI or HTMI output and WiFi so I could view pics and play music from my network. But now that I have the TV up and running, I find myself wanting to see what Eve looks like on it. |

That's a sexy TV. I've been toying with buying an LCD to replace my 57" projection. The new PC had Windows Media Center loaded on it, and it's a really cool interface just aching to be on the big screen and accessible. Unfortunately it doesn't look too hot on a projection. |

Success! I hooked Danyale's PC up to my HDTV. I had to get a DVI to HDMI converter. Then I got a WiFi adapter to connect to my network. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything looks great. Downloading the Eve patch now. Can’t wait to see what WoW and Eve look like on a 52 inch screen. Earlier I said it was 56 inch, but I was incorrect. I still need to hook the audio and file sharing. Looks like I’m gona have to get a new PC soon to take advantage of this TV. Danyale's PC was just a test. I originally wanted a cheep setup to get my MP3s off my network, as well as family pics and movies. The living room is a much better location for mass viewing of such files. However the thought of gaming and having more control of a DVR setup has tempted me greatly. I will try to get some pics up to show you want it looks like. |

Go with temptation I say ![]() you guys deserve some fun and EVE should look great on that screen. Only thing is you'll need to be 15 feet away (maybe 10-12) to enjoy it. |
