I just finished rewatching the second season. Probably better this time than the first.

Yak told me about a video on the internet that 'explained everything'. I think I found that video here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1-9SEm2IMI

It explains what DHARMA stands for and what each of the stations do also what the numbers mean.

so what is my theory?
Well I think what Desmond said is right. It is a snowglobe. I think the electromagnetic field is the gravity of a sphere. That is why Desmond could sail around it. Remember when they let the time rin out? A 'Quarintine' hatch fell from the sky. I think that was a doorway.

I think the magnetic "ring" just affected navigation, it wasn't a real globe. That's why Fenry told Michael to sail off in one direction...

I think the Quarantine hatch was the hatch that Locke originally blew open at the end of Season 1. When the electromagnet went off, it fired it up in the sky.

I think that DHARMA was the group controlling the 6 experiments, each being a station to change one of the numbers. Hanso is the army of "others".. dudes sent to the island to try to mess with the DHARMA experiments... but honor-bound somehow not to actively destroy them.

Yeah, I just finished re-watching Season 2 last night. I made a list of the "un-obvious questions" that I had still unanswered. I got to 42, then stopped in case I broke the spell. :)

I'm quite excited - was wishing they'd haev an Official LOST Podcast today, but no beans... I guess the summer ones counted for that.

I've been reading reviews from newspapers websites on tonight episode. All say the same thing..." do not miss the first 5 minutes". I've been checking out trhe various Lost forums out there too to get back in the mood. I've got Season 2 at home on DVD still in the shrink wrap ( I'm a very very bad fan for that).

Time to clear out the DVR as well. Too many Curb Your Enthusiasm's taking up potential Lost space

This is the first season of Lost where I'm actually watching the episode as they air on TV. Being able to watch a bunch of episodes in a row was definitely a plus. :P

I'm looking forward to tonight's episode.
