Ever had a really bad day at work?

Its not like I’m in trouble or anything, but I can tell that this week is going to suck. I swear I could have 5 more employees working under me and I still wouldn’t be able to get everything done before Friday. My task list keeps growing and growing, priority stuff keeps going to the front of the list, while old tasks keep being neglected.

I had been planning to be off on Friday so that Danyale and I can get things ready for relatives this weekend. Right off the bat business line manager schedules an emergency meeting for Friday afternoon, so there goes my day off.

On the bright side, I put in 12 hours today, and it looks like my usual 4 hour Friday will be more like 9 or 10 hours. With both ends of my week so jacked up, I guess I am going to make the man pay and pile on the hour’s in-between. Thank the lord for straight time overtime.

So there is my rant. What is your?

That pretty much sucks Cy. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully this isn't the norm for you going forward.

And, to answer your question, yes I have had a bad day at work. :)

Sounds like my last 3 weeks, so I can relate man. Big time. It's been some of the roughest I've worked in memorable time. I picked a bad week to quit smoking. God, now I sound like McCrosky from Airplane!.
