I've been toying with the idea again of upgrading a few parts on my gaming machine. The main problem I have is researching hardware and trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Basically, what processor (and possible motherboard combo) would you buy to get the most bang without spending too much buck. I'm looking at dual-core possiblity and probably an AMD 64 type chip first. (seems once I find a processor I like, I can build the machine around it) Feel free to add your own suggestions / and or wishes for a new rig for yourself. REMEMBER WE ARE THINKING BARGAIN FOR LESSER BUCKS! no top of the line stuff. |
