Hi everybody, I'm just passing by to give some news. :)
OF COURSE, I did again manage to forget my old account password and having changed of ISP many times since, I'm going to keep a new one, don't bother with it.

I'm quite sad SWG apparently has come to an end for avian, but, well SOE deserved it. :(

I made some breakthrough and am now working in the video games field, hopefully this will be my last activity hop until I retire.

So, how are you old guys faring ?
Oh, and let it be said...I never enjoyed myself as much in games since I played SWG with you. A big THANK YOU to the companies that put blocks in transatlantic gaming.

I had just made a post about wondering where more of our Avian vets were. Glad to see you are still doing well. Gratz on the new career.

Hopefully you can stick around here again as we've got quite the buzz going for Pirate of the Burning Sea.

Oh, and please refer to that SOE offering as "the game that shall not be named". Some of us are still bitter :lol:

Hey slug :). Still living in FRance (I know they have some good game companies over there so it would make sense, but worth asking).

as for the quote, you can't drop a line like that without any details. you won't get any, Can I get into eta or any nonsense like that. I'd just make another accoutn and ask you through that ;)

Well, not likely for now, I'm still deep in the WoW thing (yes, it's related to my job and no, I won't say anymore about it :p ) and my next plan is playing Warhammer for some Mythic PvP action, I checked LOTRO and found it abysmally bad.

Other than that, when checking my old account on the member list, I'm realising it's been 6 frigging years already...

As for the other question, yes I still live in France, which is quite a nice place for a French. :mrgreen:
I had a motorbike accident something like a year and a half ago and myleft hand broke 18 times but after a bit of surgery I got all of it back and working properly, I can still play the guitar and so on, I only lost a bit of reach. That's what you get when you're getting older. Next step is buying a Harley-Davidson but it's not really cheap and I have some more important expenses to cover before that.

If Avian gets to Warhammer, I'll gladly give it a try if the "thou shalt not play on an oversea server" nowadays politics can be circumvented.

Oh, and a totally unrelated question: my custom avatar is not available from the avatar gallery. :(

Damn - its been a while.

Sorry to hear about your hand. Now you have an ligitimate excuse to walk around with the black 'Luke Skywalker' glove.

I'll definitely be playing WAR but hopefully PotBS releases before WAR does next year.

I thought about you when Angelus was lamenting the fact that no one had voted for the French as our nationality in PotBS, so I voted French in your honor. :lol:

Anyways, grats on the new career and be careful on them 2 wheelers, personally I prefer the stability of 18 wheels. :P

Now that Talon has a fairly modern PC, there has been little research done on web-based games :twisted: :P 8)

I think there's alot of buzz for Pirates of the Burning Sea and we might get a large number of Avians showing up for the game. Not quite like SWG but a better turnout than anything since.
