It deserves it's own thread.

If you don't play this game, there is something seriously wrong with you.
If you play this game and don't love it, there is a black hole where you heart should be.... and you won't get any cake!

Play it! And don't read any spoilers!

It's part of the greatest deal in the history of everything ever. Or sometimes just called The Orange Box. Make sure "The" is capitalized.

I've wanted to play that game since I saw the first demo but I'm waiting until my new machine is built - the game looks like a ton of fun!

I guess this is what the kids at DigiPin made before Valve picked them up...

no game has ever made me laugh out loud. This game was just amazing. Not only was it truly funny but from a 'serious games' perspective it was equally great.

It took me probably 5-6 hours and I admit I watched a cheap for 15/19 (but only the first part). This game was worth the $50 alone, everything else is just, well, cake.

Good call, Obo! Bought it on steam. Best $20 I've spent in a long time.

I loved level 19, I was grinning the entire way through.

Somehow those types of games (where gravity, acceleration, etc are all warped) really work well for my brain. Wife says it's because my brain is so warped in the first place.

So you don't need the entire package to play portal? You can just buy the portal?

It's a ton of fun at $20 but since Cordalis doesn't have HL2 or TF, he might as well buy the orange box for the extra 25 bucks. I'm on Episode 2 now, and it's taken me about 17 hours to complete HL2 and Ep1 on the hard difficulty. The main portal quest can be copmleted in under 3 hours though. Though very innovative and fun I think it really should be $10-15 instead.

Well I just finished this and it is truly a masterpiece. In fact the whole game is worth doing just for the song at the end. :)
