Please as you are admitted into the common market go to Common Market -> Voting and vote to admit others...need 50% membership vote to include new people and as people are added that means pretty much everyone needs to vote at low numbers... Vote Started Oct 03 2490 End May 05 2491 Golga and Crit have been added thus far Edit: Also created a Federation (Military Alliance) |

OK....anyone have any success, or tips.. I'm told I should build schools, but don't have enough low and mid skilled workers to do so. I built some roads, but I can't seem to get the rails to build. (seems like a glitch to me) EDIT: I think I figured out why I'm not getting them. I see there is a shortage of rails being built on the market. Although I really had to poke around to figure this out. |

i figured out how to rearrange the buildings in your country, in the map thingy(at top menu-thing) it drops down to relocate and i noticed you can build stuff, even if you dont have workers for it, your population grows and more workers will come |

Build Schools, Build Roads and infrastructure Do not build offensive military power its not worth it I tried just outta curiosity .. You can attack countries with no president without losing secure status...however even if you have a vastly superior military it does little good, I lost a couple thousand heavy Arti, Tanks, Missile frigates, Fighters, Bombers, missile Batteries, armored vehicles and what nots....ridiculous against a country with little military ability... I was trying to get my head around corporations but with a lack of nearly every material needed to build anything I was wondering about their viability |

corperations are mostly a difrent playstyle from what ive read, you can choose to be a president of a country, or a ceo of a corperation just make a few basic government maintainance thingys and if theres a lot of unemployment, make basic resource gathering stuff, and i think to build roads and railroads and stuff you need a railway/road contruction corperation in your country |

You can buy them on the market but railways are in a shortage |

DF, I'm badly in need of some Med Workers, so I sent you an exchange proposal you probably will like. The game makes you balance it by salary. |

I see you can convert Managers to Workers, but not Workers to Workers. Are you sure, or can you direct me to the right spot? |

think you can but would have to check... edit checked...you are correct any level manager can be changed down to worker level... I dont get how your suppose to increase your military index...mine has nudged up and I have a ridiculous number of troops my country can't really afford so im attack a country with no president and hopefully will conquer it...if not it will loosen my budget im attacking RC 124 if anyone nearby wants to join in... |

I've never seen so much micromanaging. It's like Master of Orion 3 on amphetamines! Yes I'm strangely addicted to figuring it out. Apparently I took over an abandoned country that became free. My iron fist of love is slowly getting things under control and my state owned corporations are doing ok so far save for a couple. I think I adopted an agrarian society as they don't seem to care to buy or work for the car company or jet fuel, but man, they love corn! |

Is there a way to either kick out a public corporation or pull a Chavez and nationalize an existing private corp? I've got some large corps run by other players that I would rather see their employees working for my corps. |

if you raise the salaries on your corperations, the workers will go to those like real life, they work for the guy that offers most money and im in for attacking the country without president, though i can only use long range things as its not my immediate neighbor edit: oh, and i just found this for a corperation:"If you are unsatisfied with its performance, you can nationalize it when you are President of this country for more than 60 months." and its 3 months each day, so thats 20 days till you can take over stuff |

Ok Really what I want to do is create a dialogue with a Federation that has sprung up all around me. Which as you can imagine causes me concern. I am Volgan of Grand Kaisereich which lies on the coast to your approximate North East. I am currently a member of PPW (Peace and Prosperity Worldwide). Now by your posts in the other threads you guys like to join up and have fun. That's great, but to many new bloods (i really hate the word noob) come in and get into trouble with the established players. So in order to foster good relations and direct any warlike tendency (its fun I know) away from PPW I will pass on some of my early game experiences. Now if your all sitting comfortably - I'll begin. 1. Prosperity travels by road and train. Get your network up to 100% and keep it there. 2. Hospitals need to be up to the number needed and more because you need to dedicate a few to "special Clinics" to get temporally disabled people back into he workforce. He who lies at home is a lazy bum that needs money on social security and pays no taxes. 3. Population will grow, and you will get a couple of boosts as freebies but you need to get your social security level up. Creates a good feeling for the public and encourage a trickle of immigration into your country each month. 4. Create new corporations carefully. Pick the products that are in short supply but LOOK at the list of ingredient products needed to produce one unit. If there are too many reds its a bad bet. 5. Medium Level Managers are always in short supply. Increase the education priority to train more. Same goes for nurses. 6. Defensive and offensive units take priority in the workforce. Basically you need to keep the military small at the start - your all in protected mode so theoretically you could disband all the military and you would still be safe. 7. Offensive units are expensive to buy and expensive to keep and unless you intend to use them they can drain your coffers very quickly. 8. Before you go for level two - all it does is give you 100 Gold Coins - there is no other benefit. 9. If you go into the chat room - keep it civil no matter what the provocation. Some of the experienced players are very dismissive of new players. The word "noob" is spread about very liberally. DO NOT RISE TO IT. The experienced players are members of long established and tight knit communities and they will co-operate to damage you. There have been many instances of independents beside secured mode player being declared on and then subjected to nuking. The effect is that some of the irradiation contaminant kills neighbouring population. So you can be got at. 10. This is really important. You will be viewed as a "noob fed" and watched closely. If you come into conflict with a big Federation to early in the game they will have member countries that will be as strong as your entire membership put together. Let alone their entire federation. Hope this provides a few pointers. With luck we will have a peaceful existance and do a bit of trading in the future. |

I offer goods and buy goods on the common market. Make sure you offer goods there, it improves your score to use it, as well as local. |

November 29 2492, a Large Earth Quake occurred in The Serene Nation of Happy Bunnies. The Large Earth Quake was felt in your country as well. 929 people died immediately and 10724 people were wounded. More details will be reported later. There are 10,724 wounded civilians and 9,682 persons are still evacuated. ...im gonna need a few relief stuff(and i have set up a little, so i got a few things already), not alot, since it was a large quake at my neighbor, i only got a small part |

i think the full member is just for extras and boosters i got the same message... oh, and i got a unemployment problem, but my corperations are only hiring at 15-35% i have also manually set them to 100%, it could be because of a lack of med managers edit: oh, and can some people please send me some relief resources? i had only set up helicopters, but i need more then just those fuel/food units, building materials, field school/hospital units are monthly use one time need is 2-3building teams, a cleanup unit, an electric generator, 5emergency building units, 2field hospitals(and teams), 4 field schools(and teams) a inoculation unit, 5 tents, and 3 trucks |
