I have to vent. For any game designers out there who might be reading this and maybe somehow missed the boat: WE'RE IN THE NEXT-GEN GAMING AGE, PEOPLE! The developers of "Two Worlds" need to be shot, hung, drawn and quartered, and drug through the streets. After playing the demo of this game, I feel like I've been robbed of 15 minutes of my life. This is a game that just came out and it looks more like a PS1 title. I didn't take the time to research it, but I suspect that this was a PC title that they've converted to consoles, but there is absolutely no excuse for the horrific graphics in this game. It's an RPG! We need eye candy! It's essential if they're even going to BEGIN to compete with Oblivion and some of the others in the same genre. Even if I completely ignore the terribly ugly world I was running around in, the voice acting is worse than if it was done by my 12 year old cousin, the menus were anything but helpful or user friendly in any way, and the controls were bulky and unwieldy (yes I know it's probably better on PC). The only bright spot might have been the sound track, but that was ruined by the overlaid voice acting (if you could call it that). The storyline might have been ok, but I couldn't stand running around in that world long enough to find out. Anybody else play this game? Am I completely off my rocker? |

I have not played the game nor the demo, but I have heard nothing but horrible reviews since the game came out. The funny thing is that before it came out Angelus and I were hoping that this game could be a great co-op oblivion style game. I think that the dialogue issues could stem from Polish to English translation problems |

I heard enough times that it's an "Oblivion-wannabe." Hearing and believing that, I have no interest in checking it out. I already have sugar, why would I want Splenda? |
