For those of you who don't know who that guy is, he's the co-creator and main contributor of Dungeons and Dragons with Dave Arneson, and writer of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons rules.
Most of our hobbies today derive from his work. The gaming world loses one of its initiators with his passing at the age of 69.

sad sad....

And I'm suprised you gave DAVE CREDIT! woot!

on another note, Dave Arneson is in bad shape with his health too, he lives real close to me and my father-in-law visits him often ( my father-in-law was in his original campaign in pre D&D times.)

I had a complete collection of the first edition rules at one time, and even visited Gary's Store in Lake Geneva, WI more than once before the Blumes ran TSR into the ground, and they eventually got bought out by Wizards of the Coast.

Here is hoping Gary finds that ultimate RP game in the sky

My first experience of RPG were with AD&D.

Best comment I've seen is that he'll be Critically Missed.
