Always on the lookout for cool indie games I came across this beauty. It's based on the Penny Arcade comics and is set in the 1920's. It's an RPG/ Adventure mix with some steampunk and Lovecraft elements. The demo is extremely well done and I'm hooked. I'll be buying and DLing the game when I get home. I just love seeing well made, different games like this, and love supporting them. And then name is awesome! http://www.rainslick.com/ |

I played the demo on XBL and I liked it, but due to somewhat sluggish controls and my "gotta touch and read everything" habit it feels a little slow. I also thought that the narrator at the beginning was a bit too slow. I can't have text on the screen and not read it, so I'm constantly waiting on the overly dramatic narration. Hopefully that ends with the demo. |
