Question for those in the know, or have experience in this area:

What the average base salary for entry level QA Testers?

I am sure it is not much, but I would like at least a rough idea if I should pursue an opportunity that may have arisen.

From the 2008 salary survey...

In construction I typically see QA/QC entry level around 30k to 40K; double that with 5 to 9 years of experience; triple that with 10 or more years of experience.

Gaming Industry QA positions do pay on the low side.

I work for a software company that creates applications for the EMS Industry and our QA positions start out in the $40k to $50k range.
