Haven't been on the net for a week and I see THIS!

Thanks guys. Turned 24 years old, no present, no cake (other than the one I bought myself, for myself) and woke up with back pain that day.

I have just arrived at Thule Air Base to work as a trainee for the IT department of the local civillian contractor so I've been busy as heck.

But the money is good, the job is exciting and the Dining Hall has got a great menu every day.
And coming from a country that cannot survive without importing I find the BX extremely cheap and filled with everything I could only dream of back home. Heck they even have Pepsi up here! (Brought 3 SW books and got one as a present by the local libarary (spelling?))

So I'm good for the next four months except for the slow internet connection (In which I am not permitted to discuss or reveal any details about... some NDA!)

Having fun up here and if I ever get around taking pictures I'll upload them on FB given the chance of a stable net-connection.

So basically I am in a similar situation as Cyrus except this is a frozen wasteland and there are no local angry militia.
