Enjoy the day and time spent with friends and family. even the in-laws

We don't have thanksgiving here so I shall be working!

But spending time with friends and family is always a good thing and I heartily recommend it.

Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite holidays; the good times with friends, family, and food. I really hate being out here in Africa and missing all the fun back home.

I took a group of n00bs to Lac Assal for thanksgiving; we had a great time although they were not very adventurous. We got back to the base in time for the huge thanksgiving feast the Galley puts together each year. It is probably the best meal they do all year. I had the traditional turkey and dressing which was great, but the real treat was the king crab legs as thick as my wrist. It still didn’t beat Danyale’s Grandmothers cooking, but was as good as it gets out here.
