That is my opinion of Saint's Row.

I got GTA 3 and was not impressed at all. That was 8-9 months ago. When my comp was down I got Fallout 3 awesome game. Played it thru a couple of times. Then I got Brutal Legend awesome sound track if you like heavy metal. Got thru most of that game in about a week returned it to gamespot for credit and got Saint's Row.

AWESOME game.

Cool Clothes & cars both very customizable. Better clothes get you repsect bonuses and you'll need different vehicles for different missions and activities.

There are 3 different gangs you are at war with. They all control different areas of the city. As you do missions and conquer their strongholds you'll gain control of new neighborhoods allowing you earn more cash in your crib's safe(which you should empty every chance you get).

If you get bogged down running missions, try some fun activities. All will get you cash and respect.

Chopshop - Steal or buy different cars and take them to the chopshop.

Hitman - Kill different targets with specific weapons (always keep a target on your HUD) accessible from a menu using the start button.

Snatch - Steal ho's from their pimps and return them to the brothel.

Demolition Derby - self explanatory

Drug Trafficking - Ride with the dealer and protect them.

Mayhem - Raise hell and destroy stuff.

Insurance Fraud - Much fun either in person or in a car.

Street Racing - In my case faster was not always better. You can race in almost anything and the other racers will show up in whatever class of vehicle you have.

Escort - Make sure the client gets off with the whore in the backseat before the news vans can get too much footage. Be sure to have the volume up to hear the different comments on this one.

Except for Chopshop and Hitman all these activities have some kind of time limit. Chop and Hit are just things you do in the course of doing other things.

Missions are varied from ones heavy on driving to ones heavy on shooting. Some of course are easier than others. Every stronghold you take over will get you another save point in the game.

You can also bring homies with you on your missions. Why go up against the other gangs by yourself if you dont have to.

So far with my activity and mission/stronghold completion I'm 41% of the way thru the game and still loving it.

There is also some hidden stuff in the game. CD's which after finding 10 will unlock new original music. The are also tagging locations where you get to break out your can of spray paint and proudly write SAINTS.

As you can tell I'm quite impressed with the game and am finding it a whole bunch of fun. I picked it up at gamespot for $10 used and of course you have 7 days to return it for credit if you dont like it.

Well I'm headed back to the Row. Got some people to kill, races to win, drugs to run and other shit like that.
