I was wondering if Avian was planning on putting a heavy presence in the Starsider server (the official role-players server). I think that would definetly help out with the business aspect of star wars galaxies. Especially since I plan on having my main character be one who focuses on non-in-game businesses: random things like helping crafters get the right materials, perhaps transporting, later on holding big money tournaments as in a Star Wars Fighting Championship for different fighting styles.... |

Avian has chosen a server but as we had planed all along we will not be releasing this information untill release day. I will say this though Avian will be on one server with a HQ on a planet we will not be spread between 2 or 3 servers. Although we will hopefully spread through out the galaxy |

An addendum to Dragon Fire's comment. Although Avian will only be located on one server, there will be a number of Avian members who will make another server their second home in order to explore other character concepts together. It will not be an official Avian grouping, as they will not be crafters, but most likely Combatants of some sort. I, for one, will be one of those players with a "second home", however I don't expect that to be within the first month, as we will be focused on our PA's progress. |

yea thats true...alot of us have Imperial character backrounds so have thought about playing that side of things...on another server. |

So you don't think it would be a problem to have all avian members be able to create a character on that one server? Anyway, I hope it works out, b/c that would be ideal. |

I had kind of already been planning on another character for that server (down the line, when the populations of each server even out). I think most Avian alts will lean towards combat. I know I'm going to be overt, but I just don't know which side... Maybe I'll wait for the Hutts.

Starsider was the unofficial RP server. The awesome news is that it looks like it will be one of the release servers as well. The site has listed chatrooms for each of the servers. 13, yes, 13 in all. What I assume to be the 12 release servers and test center. I know one of our big worries was that our server would get flooded with refugees from starsider. Looks now like that will not be the case. |
