Whats new guys? I'm done with Basic Combat Training as of 2 weeks ago, and i'm at Advanced Individual Training right now taking the 31Uniform Signal Support Systems Specialist course right now. It's pretty cool, a lot of freedom here compared to BCT but alas i cannot own my own computer here so i will have to wait another 15 weeks before i can play Star Wars Galaxies =-((((


On the up note, one of my roommates, who is a major dick... bought the star wars galaxies collectors edition and i locked the Pencil to Pixels art book and his cdkey in my foot locker, and i'm holding them hostage until he finds out in a couple of months that they're gone.. bwahha...




Well how are things going in Avian? I see you guys had to change the name ingame, thats a bit disappointing no?

What do you think of the game so far? The clan i was in before dropped off from SWG and is moving onto World of Warcraft, So i havent heard much good about the game, alls i know is I enjoyed my time beta testing it.

Hopefully by the time i can actually play the game full time they will have player cities, mounts and vehicles in or ready to go into the game!!!


Well I hope everything is going well for you guys, it's nice posting on these boards again, and extremely nice to have access to computers again!

Good to hear you're done with basic and got through it okay. It's too bad you have to wait so long to play, but think of the positive aspects, you won't have to deal with nearly as many headaches due to bugs and balancing issues and broken stuff.

I would hope it doesn't take your roommate long to find out SWG is gone, or he's got some issues.

The name change wasn't too bad. It's a little disappointing, but most people know us just as "Avian" anyways, which is what we have floating over our heads, so it feels natural regardless.

So far this game is simply a blast. It's doing something right if I can ignore 99% of the bugs and stuff simply because I'm having fun. Things get better most every day, and before you know it we'll be electing mayors, driving speeders, and riding on Fambaa.

Hiya Marrok, one of my roommates is heading down to the IET center today to try to see if their computers can handle star wars galaxies, if they can starting next week i'll be spending my weekend theres playing as much as i can, whenever i can.

Hopefully it all works out.. =-x


The computers they got in the school suck as well, integrated graphics, 128mb of ram and 1ghz processors =-/


bahh! so embarrassing hehe..

I'm very tempted to order the new Alienware laptop, cost 3,400 and it's loaded very nicely.. but i'll probably end up waiting until i get out of here until i buy anything, new technology and lower prices is my motivation right now..


Diagnostic PT test is on Tuesday, after that i'll be " Phase 5 " and able to leave the base. That'll be fun, maybe i could find an internet cafe with decent computers.. that'd be even better.. Ahh well we'll just have to wait and see what opportunities open up..


Also i found out i'll probably be getting stationed in Germany, most likely wurzberg, all of the graduating classes for my MOS are going there...

I wanted to go to Germany anyway! =-)
