I was just thinking that it would be nice to have a night of the week where people did a particular thing. First I was thinking Gungan hunting, because Jar Jar must die!!!

Then I thought maybe a resource market at the PA hall, say, every Saturday night from 8-9 EDT, or something better for west coast and others.

In any event, all we need to get an event like this going is publicity and a solid core of Avian players who will get it started.

Obviously I'm not announcing anything, just throwing the idea out for comment etc. What do you think, sirs?

I've been leading groups to go Gungan hunting at the ruins on Naboo around -300 -2800. Be forewarned, you'll need at least one entertainer, one good medic, and between four and a dozen good guns. There's over two dozen Gungans there at any given time, and they all will aggro on you if you attack one of them. They also average 3k HAM and do 200-500 damage. However, they give from 300-700 weapon XP each for me...

Wow, I think that having an informal market type thing, with just the actual people (i.e. no vendors) selling their wares and interacting directly with customers is a great idea, not only from a marketing standpoint, but also from a fun/RP standpoint. Maybe this should be set up twice-a-week, like 6:00-7:00 PST Tuesdays and Fridays or something, and whatever merchants and customers can make it over to the hall will just do what they like.

As far as actual planned events, that falls to the DI; hopefully a member from that department will wander along and post something about what's planned.

I love the market idea. Get members and public involved, so we can trade resources and such amongst ourselves for cheap then sell it to the public at closer to market price.

Perhaps we could hold each one at a different A-Mart, and afterwards members could stock the stores (and also promote the Avian name and stores).

The biggest Gungan temple I know of is directly west of Keren - filled to the brim with Bosses and other stupid bipeds who can speck. Go for it, just bring backup. Damn amphibians are vicious.

I love the market idea. It would help us learn what each other is selling. I know I have been asked where can payer_X find item_Y.... and I have no idea half of the time.


I guess I can do some gungan hunting. My gungan faction was so high. I tare up plasma thief’s all the time, which gives me good gungan points.
