If I understand this right you can redeed a harvester or generator. For example when a resource dries up or if you wish to move a structure you can provided that the maintenance fee is paid up.

My first question is what is paid up? Is there a screen somewhere that indicates this?

I read somewhere that for a personal harvester you must make sure you have 1500c in maintenance. Then you destroy it.

Is this is correct, is it a flat fee? Is it the same for a Wind generator or is it more as the maintenance fees are higher on a daily basis for these?

Is there some ratio that is applied to the daily maintenance fee so that whatever the structure you know what to pay ahead of removal?

To destroy a structure, you have to issue the destroy command twice. The first time you do it you will be told if you don't have enough maintenance paid to re-deed, and you will be told what the minimum amount required is.
It's a flat rate amount. All personal extractors are 1500 for example.
I'm not sure on the amounts for various structures, but I'm sure someone has that information.

What about any paid up power, do you recover it or is it lost?

Currently paid up power and all money paid in the structure is lost when redeeding.

This is a bug.

According to the Devs they are working on a fix, but there are numerous things more important to be worked on so they don't have an ETA.

FYI, the 1500cr you have to have in the Harvester to re-deed is supposed to remain when you replace the deed as well.

Wind generator costs 3000 to redeed.

If you don't have enough in your maint pool when you select destroy the first time, it'll tell you how much you need. If it doesn't say anything, you have enough.

Im not a surveyor, but somebody told me, its cheaper to buy more harvesters, instead of redeeding.

For personals that's probably true. It all depends on how much maint money you have in it when a resource shifts, or how much maint money it will cost to repair, among other things. This doesn't really work so well for medium and large harvesters.

Yeah, for personals that can be true. Definitely not with the bigger harvesters though.
