Hehe...you could always go all out as president and get the Avian logo put into your carpet, kinda like the seal on the floor of the Oval Office!

Try to find a fabric pen in the same color as the carpet and draw over it.

Seriously, I don't think you have other options.

Since bleach is not really a stain but the removal of the dye on your carpet there is little to do here except as previously mentioned, cover it. If it is a very simple color you might be able to recolor it. Talk to a carpet seller and see.

funnily enough my sister (when she was about 5) spilt some bright pink nail polish on our dark green enamel bath at home. consiquently she poured the rest of the bottle out in the hopes that our mum wouldn't notice!

why didn't she just use nail polish remover to get it off the Enamel?

Well if you really want to know Bossman, I havent done anything with it. I went to Llowes, but they didnt have anything I could use. So, I think I may just get creative and try to cover it up.

From what I gather (it was a long time ago so I can't remember too well) you can't do that. I think that stuff ruins the enamel so it would only make it worse.

I would buy a small bottle of fabric dye, or maybe a couple (to mix) and dab it on once you get the right color. Just make sure to test it out mebbe. i bet you had that thought though...

*BUMP*

It's been three weeks since we've last heard anything about this. Any progress, Rom?

Bossman, haven't you learned ANYTHING??? We haven't polled our sections yet, so he can't make a decision. :P

Be nice...

I'm actually pretty interested, too. My wife and I decided that dying the carpet's the best idea. Or, just throw a lot of house parties, destroy the carpet anyway, and then pay for a new one when you leave the appartment.

That was my strategy after a candle-lit romantic dinner turned into a two foot diameter pink carpet wax ornament. (I'm know that an iron on a wet washcloth can melt most of it, but definately not all).

Yak, is it just me or do you take everything I say seriously? If so, some advice to you.... don't. I may come across on the boards as a serious person, but ask anybody who talks to me via Messenger (quite a few people actually, if they're willing to admit it) and they'll tell you I'm anything BUT serious. :P

Heh heh... my wife's said I'm acting quite sensitive lately, too. You're right, I was being a little persnippity.

I need more sleep, but there's too much to do in life!

If you still have that spot, try a warm iron with a paper grocery bag. The coarse paper fibers serve as an excellent wick and suck that wax right up. I speak from experience! (red candle, cream carpet, a light-colored sofa)

Well, that's not entirely true. We've have a few conversations that have gotten to the heart/meaningful conversations so to say.

But, other than those few, Talon is a kid at heart (like everyone else around here who is married...according to the wives that is)

ROFL... Arindel, its not MY fault our conversations have degraded into seriousness! ;)

Place a piece of kitchen towel (paper towel stuff) over the spot, then a layer of grease-proof paper on top of that then use a hot iron.
Wax melts at 180 degrees C just so ya know.
