Wow! It just came out yesterday unexpectedly, for me anyway. It has an ok single player mode (the story feels a lot like the 1st game) and also comes with 2 muliplayer modes. Mulitplayer has bugs.... its hard to connect to games (just keep trying different ones) but once you get into them they are fun (not much lag!). I only played one match and got smashed do to getting use to the controls and interface again but this game looks like a winner in my book. Let's hope the final will look/run a little better.
Hmmm I guess some of you might not know about Homeworld. It's a space strategy game (mildly like Warcraft). You send out units to gather resources from asteroids and use them to build yourself a fighting fleet. For more info on the game check out
