Monday night approximately 7:00 PM I got my SWG life back.
For the last few months, and especially last few weeks I have been working on a group project for my Construction Management Safety class. We had to develop a corporate safety plan and a project specific safety plan as well as a presentation incorporating both plans in an effort to win an imaginary job. We had to do our presentation in front of our class as well as a panel of industry professionals who do RL presentations like this for a living.
My chosen method of success was to look the part and overwhelm our audience with the most professional presentation they had ever seen. Having 5 years experience in the environmental industry and chemical hazards, I knew how lengthy and detailed the needed safety plans could be and I had a good idea how a corporate executives would attack such an assignment. And I knew we had to dress the part.
When it was all over, the panel (jokingly) asked if they could keep our presentation documents to use in for their companies, and they said they completely forgot that our presentation was being put on by a bunch of students. Although we have not received a grade for this project yet, judging from how we stacked up compared to our classmates, and judging from the comments from the panel… I think it is safe to say we roxored them.
In celebration of this project coming to an end, I am taking my SWG life back, and will be playing all week like a man with nothing better to do.
