And the name of it's god is Call of Duty!

I thought I started playing it about 30-40 minutes ago, turns out it's been over 2 hours! The game's pace is perfect, pulls you along.

Graphics are, of course, over the top. Sound is outstanding! Bullets whizing by me made me want to flich a couple times. The voice acting is only pretty good and could, arguably, be the only weak spot of the game. If you like FPS or WWII, pick up this game!

I'm still playing the American missions but I'm really looking forward to the Brit and Russian missions, particularly storming Stalingrad with nothing more than a flag! For Mother Russia!!

When I finally went to bed - I could not sleep! The game had the adrenaline pumping like crazy and I just could not fall asleep. So, you have been warned! ;)

Legal disclaimer: This game should not to be played the night before church, your wedding, important tests, triathlons, physicals, job interviews or multiple nights in a row. The full, long-term health effects of this game have not been fully explored.

I hear ya, Exar!

I forgot to tell you guys about one part in particular that I thought was pretty incredible!

My squad and I were defending Ste. Merie Eglise against Axis troops and Tigers. Cpt. Foley ordered me to run back to the church and retrieve a captured panzerfaust and on the way, I got ambushed in a big way. The crew on the tank that was causing the problems to begin with (and why I was running hellbent for the church) decided to fire to take out one of our good cover buildings. Surprise, surprise for Pvt. Martin (that's me) who was behind the building. I was thrown up against another wall, almost all the sound went away and my vision became very distorted with a lot of red patches (guessing burst blood vessels in my eyes). A fraction of a second passes and I realize I can hear, that I'm *not* dead. I head for cover, moving slowly and after hunkering down there for a few seconds, my hearing slowly returned and vision cleared. Time to move on!

Oh, and the tank? I did more than ring their ears. ;)

I'm still in SP myself. I'm taking my time, as you can tell. :) The AI isn't super-duper but it is decent. The difficulty from easy to hard doesn't match up.... easy is to easy and hard (vet) is to hard. Not that I don't mind a challange, but it will take me longer on the hardest setting. I think it it kind of silly how your squad can't die, I guess they are needed for the story or something but its funny to me.

And a few times, I've shot an enemy full of holes and seen him lay still thinking he is dead, only to have him get up later when the next rush of bots comes at me. I'd shoot him, he'd die again- next wave, he gets back up again- and again...

Worst AI goof, I was sooooo far into a mission (you don't get health packs in veteran often), my teammate runs ahead, I don't hear any gun fire so I rush in the building after him- big mistake. He is standing in the middle of the room out in the open like nothing is going on, and there are four Germans stare'n at him until I walk in- I'm dead now. That traitor lives and might have stolen the pocket knife my grand-dad gave me once his German friends capped me good.
