I was one huge FF fan...

Loved the first 3 on Nintendo, back then there was nothing better in my mind. Then I was into 7 and 8, when they first came out, but have not followed it beyond that.

I have moved away form consoles, so that is one reason for my distance form FF now a days.

I am a FF nut, but I am also low on money and playing time. I'm quite torn, and since SWG came out first, as of now it wins the battle for my time.

The new FF should be on consule AND PC. At least that is what I read, both will be able to play together in the same game worlds too. Since I already have SWG I won't being playing any FF though I wish I could do both.

FFXI is out now on the PC, next spring on the PS2.

They will play togehter, same servers.

I am gonna get it, I can't stand the wait anymore.

I will play both for a long, long time I am afraid, hehe....

Yeah I am a faithful one game kind of guy. Nothing but SWG for me.

But my wife is newly (7-10) into FF, so if it is on PC I can get it for her! That would be great... I love it when I can give her something I want.

I've played every FF, that's why I'm not going to play XI. I wouldn't stop. I have a couple friends who play it and say it's cool, so if you can bugdet your time I say go for it. But, FF X-2 comes out in less than two weeks, so umm...wait what was I saying?

My chosen class combination requires grouping, so I expect that going in.

And I don't mind grouping either.

Grouping or raiding? It's questionable how much EQ and grouping go together. I mean, they made an entire expansion to try and get people to group together.

My friends say that after lvl 12 you pretty much have to group to go anywhere, worse than EQ where there were some soloable classes (necro, druid, etc.).

No, I strictly meant the 18th of November, KotOR will be my game until winter break. The lock the doors because FFX-2 gets popped into the PS2. I'm quite excited if you couldn't tell.
