Star Wars Galaxies Q&A #2


Lepidus: Currently what are your immediate goals with the game, and where do you foresee the next patch going?

Kevin O'Hara: Our next update (currently on Test Center) involves player mounts and cities. Immediately after that publish, we intend to finish player vehicles. Those are the three major post-release systems that we promised to deliver within 4-6 months of release. After that we definitely have plans to expand the content of the game, especially for higher powered characters. We also want to focus energy on the professions (mainly based on feedback from our community forums). I don't think we're ready to announce beyond that right now... except to say we do have a team working on space ships.


Lepidus: The Space Expansion is really interesting everyone. At this time, would it be possible to talk a little more about what to expect and how the development is progressing?

Kevin O'Hara: We have separated out some of the team to work solely on the Space Expansion. I can't get into details yet, but before the end of the year we intend on lifting the curtain a little bit to start gathering community feedback. I'm really looking forward to jumping in an X-Wing myself.
