My plan is to find someone on another server that will make a dummy character on Chilastra to hold my factories for me (once they are in their final position).

This will free up at least 2 lots.

In return i will make a dummy character on that person's server to do the same.

I can see only winners with this system.


Now, for the problem of finding such a person i need your help:
Do you know anyone on another server that
- would like to trade this way?
- is contactable through email or any other medium in case something changes.

I have thought about doing this aslo... but wonder how difficult it would be concerning resource shifts. I would love to hear more info.

What do the resource shifts have to do with factory ownership?

Not much. He's probably just thinking about trading lots with someone for harv usage, which some have done, but is a lot harder, and much more of a hassle.

This type of trading is probably easier with structures you won't move every week. That is unless you each have each other's account info and log in and move harvs yourself. Either that, or place harvs and just harvest whatever is there, no matter what concentration.

I think I said that I am thinking about trying a lot exchange. I do not have any factories because I am not a crafter. However I have harvesters... thus I was wondering how hard a lot exchange is for my proposes as a resource gatherer.

I know Majia does it, but I was wondering how hard it really was. Looked to me to be easier for factories and permanent buildings.

Would you have your lot exchange guy place you house? The new player city processes seem to make this less desirable.... not to mention the risk of loosing all your positions in your house.

Cyrus, doing the harvie thing was OK when I used to play every day. Now I don't have the time and it's a pain in a butt to have to log for someone else for 20 min.

I am thinking about cancelling my lot trade because of it, but would like to find a better arrangement with a factory/ house/ PA Hall kind of guy.
