Before I begin my application, I wanted to let you know that although I'm familiar with SWG, I do not play SWG. I was recommended to your PA my friend Talon, and I have followed the activities of Avian since he became a member long ago. I'll fill out the application as if I were applying to a multi-game PA, since I have been informed that is the direction Avian is heading.

1. What is the name of your character?

Z-Byrd

2. What species is your character be?

Human

3. What profession are you pursuing?

N/A

4. If applicable, what handle do you use on the Sony Online SWG forums?

N/A

5. What other sites do you visit to obtain information on Star Wars Galaxies, and how frequently do you visit these sites?

Yahoo! Racing Manager, EA Sports, WoW site.

6. Explain why Avian is the right PA for you. How do we meet your needs?

I enjoy playing games with a more mature group of people, and from what I've seen, Avian is just that!

7. Please describe how your character earns a 'living' in SWG, what can you contribute to Avian, and in particular what skills or profession are you be focusing on?

N/A

8. Avian desires to remain a neutral PA, and as such will avoid many forms of PvP combat. If you have chosen to take on a combat oriented character, describe how you will fit in to a mainly non-combat PA. What services will you provide to Avian members and how do you wish to be rewarded for your services?

N/A

9. What are your long and short-term goals?

Have fun playing different games with new friends.

10. Please take a moment to tell how you found Avian.

Friend of Talon

11. Why have you chosen Avian over other PAs you have considered or previously belonged to and which PAs were they?

Never considered any other PAs.

12. What would you change and/or add to the Charter? Why?

As I understand, Avian is going to become a multi-PA gaming community. I'm looking forward to seeing that, and possibly even helping out in the process.

Thanks for considering my Application!

Z-Byrd

Z-Byrd,

Thank you for applying to Avian Technology and Trade. Your application is being reviewed by the Board of Directors. As soon as a decision has been made, you will be notified.

You are encouraged to participate in these forums, and interact with our members in game.

(that's the canned welcome)

Good to see you finally!

welcome to the boards. Will you be playing SWG or WOW? From the looks of it you are not currently playing SWG. Note: just a question, you do not need to play SWG to join Avian.

Welcome, Z-Byrd. It is good to see some more interest in Avian from WoW followers.

I am interested in general gaming, particularly strategy games. I'm curious to see what WoW will look like. Thanks for replying!

Sometimes Talon won't even admit he's a friend of Talon. ;)

Yeah, I know I could never run for public office as my friendship with Talon would cast a dark shadow over my campaign. :P

Anyway, welcome to the boards, best of luck in your application and hope to see more of you around here!

As you'll probably recall, I was a loud supporter of the campaign that got you ELECTED, though misguided as we all were, as president. :P
