General Character Information

What games do you currently enjoy playing the most?
 I go back to KOTOR from time to time but I'm not playing anything else currently

What style of gameplay do generally prefer?
 Exploration, tactics

What game genres do you find most enjoyable?
 Simulation, MMO, Adventure, empire building

What unreleased games are you currently following the progress of?
 WoW, Sid Meier Pirates!, Middle Earth Online, Battle for Middle Earth, KOTOR 2

What unreleased games do you plan on playing in the future?
 same as previous except I'm still unsure about middle earth online

In the games that you currently play, what names do your characters go by?
 Barcalla, Leum, Pegucha, Musa. I usually pick names that fit the current game.

Player Associations

Have you previously been a part of any other Player Associations for any specific games or for gaming in general? Which ones were they, and why did you leave?
 It's usually a goal of mine to try and find a good PA to join in MMOs. I've always left guilds because of immaturity, lack of organization, or if other members lose interest.

With the exception of the ones you have joined (if any) what other Player Associations did you consider?
 none that I remember

Avian

Have you read and do you understand the text of the official Avian Charter?
 Aye mate. Tis a fine parcel

Is there anything you would change or amend to the Charter?
 I remember when we had a need for nine sections with all the members back in SWG beta days.(i only see seven sections currently in the members link) But I think we could scale it down more now. Perhaps have a certain required number of members in each section(at least 12-15 or so). More members in each section means increased activity, less voting hassles, and a smaller BOD which could make descisions faster. You could even make an amendment that would scale the number of members to the number sections. Also I'm aware that the charter is getting revamped? Because the departments are very SWG specific.

Are you aware that a lot of Avian’s organization is conducted on the forum as opposed to in games themselves? How often do you see yourself regularly checking the forums if you are accepted into Avian?
 Yes, I will be able to check at least once every 2-3 days.

Please take a moment to tell us how you found Avian.
 Last time I joined I didn't remember so I've no freaking clue now. Glad I'm here though

Please explain why you have chosen Avian and why Avian should choose you. What do you expect to get from your membership in Avian and what do you expect to offer?
 Avian is a community of intelligent mature individuals who are here to have fun. This is why I've chosen this place. I will help every Avian to the best of my ability(ingame and out of game) and I expect you all to do the same.

Long live Avian eh?

Barcalla,

Congratulations, your application has been accepted by the Board of Directors and you will be placed in Section 1.

As a new member you may wish you visit the Important Links for Every Member thread. It will greatly help you get caught up with the rest of Avian. Remember that some things at that link may be slightly out of date now they we have expanded into a multi game Player Association. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me, or any of our members.

Again, Congratulations on your membership.
