General Character Information

What games do you currently enjoy playing the most?
CoH, WoW, SimCity (any version), Civilization.

What style of gameplay do generally prefer? PvP, PvE, Crafting, etc...?
PvE, Crafting and Tradeskills, a little PvP

What game genres do you find most enjoyable?
MMORPG's and Strategy

What unreleased games are you currently following the progress of?
Civilization 4, Spore, Middle Earth Online, SimCity 5

What unreleased games do you plan on playing in the future?
Those listed above and whatever my yellow BestBuy credit card tells me.

In the games that you currently play, what names do your characters go by?
SWG- Baylor, Tetran, Hedrick
WoW- Larong
CoH- Habeas Corpus, The Six Course Meal, The Moustache

Player Associations

Have you previously been a part of any other Player Associations for any specific games or for gaming in general? Yes
Which ones were they, and why did you leave?
SWG - Metalus Gravis (left game), and a few insignifigant guilds/clans/supergroups.

With the exception of the ones you have joined (if any) what other Player Associations did you consider?
To be honest, I never went out searching for a guild in a game. I'd create one when I had a good amount of friends usually. I'd join others after being around them for so long and was invited.

Avian
Have you read and do you understand the text of the official Avian Charter? Yes

Is there anything you would change or amend to the Charter? No

Are you aware that a lot of Avian’s organization is conducted on the forum as opposed to in games themselves? Yes
How often do you see yourself regularly checking the forums if you are accepted into Avian: Daily

Please take a moment to tell us how you found Avian. I first found Avian on a random shuttle trip to Avian City on a quest for Lokian Wheat many, many moons ago. Then somehow they wound up in my city. /shrug.

Please explain why you have chosen Avian and why Avian should choose you. What do you expect to get from your membership in Avian and what do you expect to offer? I've meet several of you in game and Robert personally. You guys seem like a good group of people (note, I used seem heh) and can appreciate your level of communication on the guild. It's a very helpful and informative group with a good screening process. Unlike the 5 guilds that invited me in WoW last night :P

Welcome! Glad to see the app!

If you have a character on Dalaran or if you start one, do a /who avian and see if anyone can get you brought onboard as a recruit.

Tetran,

Congratulations, your application has been accepted by the Board of Directors and you will be placed in Section 2.

As a new member you may wish to visit the Important Links for Every Member thread. It will greatly help you get caught up with the rest of Avian. Remember that some things at that link my be slightly out of date now they we have expanded into a multi-game Player Association. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me, or any of our members.

Again, Congratulations on your membership.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll be in WoW tomorrow evening and hook up with you all. Tonight is all about new heat pump estimates and some CoH to help out some friends.

See you there!

Thankfully the current heatpump is still working, it's just ancient and struggling to keep up with the 100F days. Ah... money....

So.. who should I contact in game then? I do a /who avian and unfortunately I don't recognize many names due to alts and my unfamiliarity with some members. Also, my housemate plays WoW and might be interested since we usually always quest/hunt together.

My play times have been erratic lately and I've been questing with my housemate quite a bit when I am on. I haven't seen any of the listed names above when I do a /who avian. I did see Rageman in Lakeside in the Red Ridge's yesterday at the Inn. I don't think he was ATK. I have a lvl 20 priest now named Tetran that I've been playing. One of these days we'll hook up in game :P
