• What games do you currently enjoy playing the most?

I like Computer MMO’s Family and strategy Boardgames, and Tabletop RPG’s

I’m also digging the Guitar Hero Game.

• What style of gameplay do generally prefer? PvP, PvE, Crafting, etc...?

Hurm, Good question, I prefer the standing around and chatting while smushing stuff Style of gameplay. Does not matter to me as long as there is things to be smushed.

• What game genres do you find most enjoyable?

High to Medium Fantasy, also Gothic Lovecraftian Horror, I find that Sci Fi High tech things are great for shorter games and one shots, but not for ongoing multi-year campaigns.

• What unreleased games are you currently following the progress of?

D+D online and Vanguard. Also the new version of Fury of Dracula that Fantasy Flight Games is going to put out as a different boardgame

• What unreleased games do you plan on playing in the future?

Guitar Hero 2,3, 4, and 5 Probably Vanguard, I’ll most likely play the new D+D online

• In the games that you currently play, what names do your characters go by?

Fnorm. Fnormie, Fnorm, Berto, and Fnorm

Player Associations

• Have you previously been a part of any other Player Associations for any specific games or for gaming in general? Which ones were they, and why did you leave?

One Hundred Swords on Xegony for EQ 1, Divine Right on EQ2, umm, and Scourge of Avian for WoW. I am still a member of all of them.

• With the exception of the ones you have joined (if any) what other Player Associations did you consider?

None.

Avian

• Have you read and do you understand the text of the official Avian Charter?

Yeah, I read it and it seemed pretty well thought out

• Is there anything you would change or amend to the Charter?

I like benevolent dictatorships in principle, but that is because I never want to rule.

• Are you aware that a lot of Avian’s organization is conducted on the forum as opposed to in games themselves? How often do you see yourself regularly checking the forums if you are accepted into Avian

Three to five times a week easily, more if there are interesting threads.

• Please take a moment to tell us how you found Avian.

I watched Mark playing on the computer behind me in the static group.

• Please explain why you have chosen Avian and why Avian should choose you. What do you expect to get from your membership in Avian and what do you expect to offer?

*shrug* I choose to play MMO’s with people I trust and can actually talk to. It helps when I have seen at least some of the players in face to face situations. I would hope that Avian would choose me for my mad skillz. Or, alternately because I tend to be a voice of if not reason then at least constructive insanity when there are tensions within a group.

I expect that my membership in Avian will allow me to drop it like it is hot? No that is the wrong kids slang to use….. I expect that I’ll be able to get some more fun out of playing a game with Avian, and that I’ll help provide more enjoyment for others.
Thanks.
-Robert

As soon as a decision has been made, you will be notified.

You are encouraged to participate in these forums, and interact with our members in game.

If you have any questions about Avian Gamers Network, or about Avian in a particular game, please feel free to post your questions in this thread.

Dalaran is open as of this weekend at least.

I just made my brand new paladin lady. The one Guds invited into the guild on Sat or Sun I think. I had JUST made her.

Any way. I know this Fnorm guy too.

He sold me my brand new Town and Country minivan.

Good guy.

:D

if you have characters on dalaran, you can create new ones. if you don't have characters on dalaran, forget about it.

Well, I've looked through all our policies, gone over the charter like 5 times, and even checked for any legal loopholes, but I couldn't find any way to keep him out.

Fnorm,

Congratulations, your application has been accepted by the Board of Directors and you will be placed in Section 5.

As a new member you may wish to visit the
Important Links for Every Member thread. It will greatly help you get caught up with the rest of Avian. Remember that some things at that link might be slightly out of date now they we have expanded into a multi-game Player Association. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me, or any of our members.

Again, Congratulations on your membership.

Now, here is the plan, we get one of those Melennium Falcon lookin ships, and we fly the damm thing into the place where the Gnomes live in World of Warcraft...

I mean both are MMO's so they have to share the same code .. right ?

No one will be expecting it, and we jsut blast the puss right outa all the gnomer characters.. and we camp their bodies with TurboLaser Turrets.

I figure we can rack up kills even against pallys.

:)

Welcome, Fnorm! Please create a character on the site here using the Character Management page. Once that's done, you can be assigned access to the private WoW forums.
