1. What is the name of your character? Iobike Flyingstar. 2. What species will your character be? My character is a Human. 3. What profession will you most likely be pursuing? I am currently Pistoleer and Artisan (moving on to a -smith). I'm longing for Shipbuilder and Pilot. 4. If applicable, what handle do you use on the Sony Online SWG forums? N/A 5. What other sites do you visit to obtain information on Star Wars Galaxies, and how frequently do you visit these sites? I visit swg.stratics.com a couple of times pr week. 6. Explain why Avian is the right PA for you. How do we meet your needs? I have gotten several recommendations, describing you as a mature PA, with a focus on role playing and crafting. A PA is a good way to make friends with like-minded people, and you seem to be right up my alley. 7. Please describe how your character will earn a 'living' in SWG, what can you contribute to Avian, and in particular what skills or profession will you be focusing on? I am focusing on Artisan and Pistoleer, gathering resources and crafting items. Later, I intend to own a YT-1300 which I'll upgrade until it's rivaling Millennium Falcon, hauling goods and performing services. I'll also craft/design/service/upgrade other ships. My own starship dock would be nice... 8. Avian desires to remain a neutral PA, and as such will avoid many forms of PvP combat. If you have chosen to take on a combat oriented character, describe how you will fit in to a mainly non-combat PA. What services will you provide to Avian members and how do you wish to be rewarded for your services? I am currently training a bit Pistoleer, but will probably be dropping that for Pilot later. I have a bit of scouting skills as well, so I'll gather all the crunchy parts from beasts, selling the resources I'll not be using in my own crafting. 9. What are your long and short-term goals? My short-term goals: Be a better pistoleer, go from artisan to either Weaponsmith or Armoursmith. My long-term goals: Own my own YT-1300, servicing it and upgrading it myself, hauling goods and services across the galaxy. Shipbuilding and Pilot, in other words. Overall goals: Explore the galaxy, meeting people, living (and making a living) in the Star Wars Universe. Hey - I've been dreaming about this since the early 80's! 10. Please Take a moment to tell how you found Avian. I found Avian in-game as well as through some friends of mine. 11. Why have you chosen Avian over other PAs you have considered or previously belonged to and which PAs were they? I have chosen Avian since you seem to be a mature PA, with fun people who want to live the Star Wars dream. The leetdoods I can do without. 12. What would you change and/or add to the Charter? Why? Your charter seems well thought out, and I have currently nothing I'd want to add or change. Please ensure you have supplied a valid email address in your member profile -I have! Kind regards, Iobike |

Hello, everyone. Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting more of you the following days - tomorrow (sunday) I'll stay online most of the day. I'll be crafting, adventuring, resource gathering and socializing. Kipp - I'd love to join you for adventuring and whatnot. I've now joined the Rebel faction, and I'm ready to explore the rebel facility you spoke of.. I haven't been a rebel since umm - the Beta. Regards, Iobike |

Well Iobike, if you are interested we are going on a lowkey hunt and I use the term hunt loosely, on Tuesday. It will start at 230 PM EDT and run a long time hopefully. You can show up whenever it's convenient. It's so Europeans can get on after work and East coasters as well. PM Rho if you want more details. |

Iobike I would put Phantom of the Opera in my top 5 favorite musicals. I have the cd on the desk next to me. In what language is it performed in Denmark? |

Sorry for the threadjack, but the Phantom of the Opera is not in my top five......maybe from a technical point of view, but as a musical.....maybe in my top ten, but enjoy anyway! Kipp |

Umm - I was born before '78, but wasn't old enough to get into the theatre.. Hmm - the thirty year old's seem to become younger and younger, soon they'll be about my age! When the space expansion comes out, there will be _hordes_ wanting their own spaceship. ..And we'll be ready for them - Avian is, after all, the no. 1 crafting guild. Music: Musicals aren't my personal favourite, but The Phantom is ok. I prefer other kinds of music, my favourites include Nick Cave, David Bowie, Tom Waits and Press Play On Tape. I'm going to a PPOT concert this friday! I also like blues, I've actually been on stage with The Blues Brother Band, together with Iwa! Regards, Iobike |

Umm - sorry, Aubai! I think I had a minor short-circuit in by right brain lobe or something. By all means, Aubai, Iwa and myself have together been on stage with the Blues Brother Band.. Missed that PPOT concert, though, had to work instead. Anyway: My application has not yet been approved, but I'm wondering: - When I'm crafting items, should I add "by Avian" to the item name, although I'm not yet a member? - Would it be possible for me to place a house in Avian City, or should I wait until my application has gone through? - What is the official name of Avian City? "Avian City"? "Avitown"? Regards, Iobike |

- When I'm crafting items, should I add "by Avian" to the item name, although I'm not yet a member? You probably should wait till you're a member. Good thought though. - Would it be possible for me to place a house in Avian City, or should I wait until my application has gone through? Sure, you're more than welcomed to. Just be sure to go over the placement rules. LINK: Structure Placement - What is the official name of Avian City? "Avian City"? "Avitown"? We are actually going to begin the vote on that sometime soon now. We have it narrowed down to three choices and the final vote will be between those. They are, Avian City, Avia, and just plain Avian. |

Thanks, Romsuiag, I'll start saving up to a (hopefully medium-sized) house straight away.. Avaian City, Avia and Avian all sound like good alternatives.. I guess you have already considered other names in internal threads, names like: Craftavia, Cravia, Cravian, Bravian, Delavian, Slavian, Gravian, Aviana, Avioo, Craftia, Savian, Saveanavian, Shavian, Avianapolis (hosting the annual Avi 500), Avianna, Avienna, Saviannah, Bird City, Nabavia, Aville, Naiva (retro-inspired) or Aviobikia. Regards, Iobike |

Let's just say there have been some bad seeds. Or maybe we can say S5 has been mistaken for a mental institution. You'll hear the phrase, "Gone Section 5" quite often. Most of S5 is quite lovable, but the notoriety has overshadowed them. |
