I've decided to wait til XMas to get WoW due to a lack of funds caused by a recent car accident. It's going to be a long few weeks. Playing EQ2 is quite fun, but yesterday I found myself craving some WoW. I'm one of those "gotta have it NOW" guys.

Anyone else waiting til XMas to get WoW? I don't want to be the only level 1 Avian struttin around the newb zones in a month!

Because it is MCS, I am sure some of us will want to make resource gathering alts. Even if you get the game late, we can make new characters to help you advance.

Definitely could help you out moleo I created 9 characters on Dalaran on Day 1, one in each class. Right now I'm only playing the priest. So I'll have a newb character no matter where you start out.

Moleo, if you'd like, I still have a 10-day pass key from buying CE. You could start a character with that, then keep going ince you get the game. Not sure what happens after the 10 days runs out, though...

Hmm... interesting idea Yak. I'd only want to do it if I can keep my characters from the trial once I buy the game. Does anyone know how this works?

Yes, any characters made on a 10 day trial will remain under that persons account once they get a real cd-key.

In that case, Yak, you may have solved my problems! I still have Beta installed on my comp, so all I need is the 10 day trial key to get going right???

I too have a guest pass. My brother was using it, but now he has his own box. Wonder if these things are good for more than one person?
